World Leading Internet Scientific and Technology Achievements Released at 2021 World Internet Conference: Barneye Intelligent Farm Control System of AI Recognition and Positioning Was Recommended
Under the great challenge imposed by the pandemic, the digital economy's growth facilitated by Internet technology innovations has become a significant driver for global economic recovery.
Against this background, the 2021 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit was successfully held and concluded in September. As a part of the conference, the Release Ceremony for World Leading Internet Scientific and Technology Achievements ("WLISTA”) unveiled the cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in Internet-related industries, which showcased the wisdom of all the practitioners. WIC built a comprehensive platform for sharing innovative ideas, echoing the summit's theme "Towards a New Era of Digital Civilization – Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace."
Among all the achievements released, Barneye Intelligent Farm Control System of AI Recognition and Positioning, a groundbreaking product of CamHiech, was the only innovation from the agricultural field that made to the 2021 WLISTA Charm of Science and Technology Collection – a collection of the pioneering and promising achievements recommended by WLISTA Committee – and was introduced to the world.
The 2021 WLISTA Committee ("the Committee") comprises approximately 40 renowned experts from China and other countries. Mr. Wan Gang, Vice President of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party, and President of the China Association for Science and Technology, served as the Honorary Chair of the Committee. Professor Wu Hequan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, co-chaired the Committee with Dr. Werner Zorn, a founding father of the German Internet and an inductee into the Internet Hall of Fame.
Since the 2021 WLISTA Solicitation Notice was announced in late May, it has attracted global attention and received positive responses from Internet-related fields. The Committee received over 300 applications from China, the USA, Russia, the UK, Italy, and many other countries and regions. The experts' team reviewed all the applications following "fairness, impartiality, objectivity, and authority" principles. Fourteen applications were selected for competition, among which five were nominated. In addition, 62 achievements submitted for the competition were chosen for the Charm of Science and Technology Collection.
As the only agricultural field achievement included in the Charm of Science and Technology Collection, Barneye Intelligent Farm Control System of AI Recognition and Positioning showcased CamHiech's outstanding research and development ability. This technological breakthrough focuses on the management efficiency of animal farms, especially dairy farms, aiming to improve the users' market competitiveness and economic benefits. The system integrates artificial intelligence, visual identity, and other emerging technologies to refine the comprehensive and intelligent management of the farms.
